Our awards and accreditations

Our heating engineers are DBS (CRB) checked for the work we carry in schools both locally and nationally. We also seek to regularly provide manufacturers training to our Engineers for the products we install.

What does this mean?

Oftec, Gas Safe & Electric safe are licensed by the government to provide competent person schemes for the oil, gas & electrical industry. These bodies are required to periodically assess a registered company and their relevant technicians to ensure safe operating procedures. In summary their role is to ensure customers are protected from unsafe work. We encourage customers to ask us about our accreditations and to make sure they do not employ a heating or electrical engineer that has not met these standards.

November 2013 saw Clarity Heating become Green Deal Approved Installers and compliant to PAS 2030* for the installation of domestic boilers under the Government’s Green Deal Scheme.

*This is a benchmark and certification of our quality management system for compliance to this set standard. We are no longer a Green Deal Approved Installer and therefore required to be PAS 2030 compliant. Our audited quality management system is currently only for MCS regulations.

In March 2014 the Company became a Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) Member and in August 2014 we became a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) Installer.

A promise to our customers

Understanding a heating product is not a specialist thing! At Clarity Heating we believe that understanding the whole heating system is a specialism, and it’s this that helps us stand out from other heating companies.

Knowledge in all products and the systems they are being fitted to is key in making sure you get what is best for you. We will not offer, recommend, supply or install a product unless we have researched, studied and trained in it. If we feel a product is not up to our standards then we won’t recommend it. We are passionate in what we do.
